born and based in NYC, i'm a zillennial chinese american writer (with a design day job) whose online residence is as permanent as my city roots. my writing style careens between humorous and revelatory, chronicling the pitfalls and allure of young AAPI adulthood, and everything in between.  

i also have a background in documentary filmmaking. it's like reality TV, but with more sociopolitical issues and fewer celebrity chefs.
